Lies, lies!

Aim of practice: nimbleness in verbal improvisation
Number of participants: 2+/couple
Time allocation (min.): 10+

The participants form couples, the active one begins telling a fictional story. The second listens and can always interrupt the flow of the narrative, declaring: “Lies!” The first one must then quickly change the last piece of information. Then the roles reverse. The listener can use “Lies!” without limitations. The aim is for the teller to gain endurance and tirelessly change the narrative line without stuttering.

Example: “Petr took the tram..” “Lies.” “Petr walked on foot.”/”Petr stayed at home.”

It’s good not to negate the last sentence. (Don’t say “Petr didn’t take the tram.”)
