Guess the gesture
Aim of practice: improvisation on the basis of audience reactions
Number of participants: 3+
Time allocation: 5-10 min
The group sends one of the participants behind the door and decides on one gesture, an exact movement or an action. Consequently, they call the participant back. The participant’s task is to replicate the movement the others agreed on. Applause is the lead - whenever the guessing participant approaches the gesture, the group applauds (the intensity suggests the proximity to the correct gesture). This ends when the player has replicated the gesture accurately.
