DON’T THINK! 2

Aim of practice: warmup and relaxing the brain
Number of participants: 2+
Time allocation: 5+

The actors split into pairs, standing next to each other. One is leading, the other speaking. The leader determines any movement imaginable around the space - walking, running, turning, going backwards, spinning in a loop etc. The narrating partner keeps pace (not thinking about the movement, simply following the leader by their side). The leader can clap at any time. When they do, the speaker utters the first word that springs to mind.

In the second phase they both stop, the speaker is still orientated by the claps but now tries to connect more words through associations that come to them.

In the next phase we leave clapping aside and the speaker freely improvises with the help of two-word expressions. The speech resembles slam poetry.
