Balance with eyes shut

Aim of practice: balance and capacity for reactions to outside impulses
Number of participants: 2+/couples
Time allocation (min): 10+

The couple makes sure they have enough space. In the first phase one of the couple closes the eyes and balances on one leg - the other provides support, holding the first one’s arm. The active participant tries to move to the maximum of his/her flexibility limits. The active participant moves the rest of the body much as possible without moving their grounded leg. When both legs have been tested, the second part of the exercise follows. The active participant conducts the impulses transmitted by the partner through the arm. The partner moves the arm in various directions and transforms the intensity of the impulses. After a while the legs change. Then the roles are reversed.
